Gate Valve – Flanged PN16, OVAL Body – Bronze seats Metal Seated Gate Valves are products which prevent water flow and leakage when fully closed. When the valve is fully opened, it does not have any affect which disturbs water flow. Sealing is achieved by metal rings on the body and on the wedge. When the rings match with each other, they provide sealing. The wedge moves up and down by turning the revolving stem provided with a functional thread, enabling opening and closing of the valve. Every DVD Metal Seated Gate Valve with handwheel comes with a drain plug as standard for easy flushing of the wedge housing. On the stem, accessories such as actuator, extension spindle, gearbox, chainwheel etc. can be assembled. Furthermore, optional position indicator can be used to see the position of the valve. DVD Metal Seated Gate Valves can be manufactured from GG25, GGG40 – 40.3 – 50, GSC25, SS304, SS316 and NAB materials. DVD Valves does not recommend Gate Valves to be used for regulation purposes
