Description
It is a storage solution that can be used to ensure optimal performance of pH and ORP electrodes. It is necessary to store the pH electrode in the solution to keep the sensitive glass membrane hydrated. Never store the electrode in distilled or deionized water. The storage solution is formulated to minimize microbial growth and to prevent diffusion/osmosis effects between the solution and the electrolyte inside the electrode. Preservation of pH and/or ORP electrodes will also keep the porous septum clean. This will ensure fast and reliable measurements. We recommend soaking the electrode in the storage solution for at least two hours before making measurements.
