Description
With this high-quality top feed, the unborn foal gets important nutrients and the mare’s milk production is optimally supported. Pavo Podo®Lac forms the 1st stage in supporting the mare and foal through feeding. The nutrient values of grass differ significantly from those of roughage. Application: • For pregnant mares from the 9th month of pregnancy • For lactating mares Composition: Wheat forage meal, roasted soybeans, rapeseed bran, oats, barley, cane sugar molasses, wheat, maize, alfalfa, soybeans, linseed, soya oil, vitamins, and minerals. Nutritional analysis: 20% crude protein, 16% crude protein dig., 5,5% crude fat, 9% crude fibre, 8% crude ash, 9% sugar, 18% starch, 1,0% calcium, 0,5% phosphorus, 0,5% sodium, 1,3% potassium, 0,5% magnesium Feeding recommendation: • 9-11 months gestation: approx. 450 g per 100 kg body weight/day • 1st-4th month of lactation: approx. 600 g per 100 kg body weight/day • 5th-6th month of lactation: approx. 350 g per 100 kg body weight/day, during this period slowly reduce the ration again and switch to normal feeding.
