Can be used as psychrometer. • Tested thermometer with test certificate • Made in Germany • Scale: from -20 to +40°C • Measuring accuracy: 0,5°C • HG free (mercury-free) The imf frost thermometer station consists of two thermometers, one of which, the wet bulb thermometer, is wrapped in a fabric moistened with water, the Mouslin stocking. The container of the wet bulb thermometer should always be filled with plenty of distilled water. Please check that the Mouslin stocking reaches well into the water. The drier the air, the faster the liquid evaporates, the more evaporative cooling is caused and the greater the temperature difference between the two thermometers. The wet bulb thermometer is mainly decisive for the frost warning. With regard to alarm and switch-on temperatures for frost irrigation in fruit growing, the values of the advisory and warning service of the respective growing zone should be taken into account. Psychrometer – determination of air humidity The relative humidity can be determined from the temperature difference using the psychrometer panel. The psychrometric measuring principle is one of the most accurate and is therefore also used in weather stations.
