Bigleaf Aster ( Eurybia macrophylla ) is a shade-loving native perennial prized for its large foliage and late-season blooms. Found naturally in deciduous forests and along shaded woodland edges, this plant spreads by rhizomes to form dense colonies that suppress weeds and stabilize soil—making it an ideal choice for shaded garden beds, woodland gardens, and naturalized areas.
