ROMEX® Trass Bed is a cementitious binding agent with Trass minerals for the production of a highly water-permeable bedding compound suitable for vehicles of at least 40 tons. Crafted with Trass minerals, this compound revolutionizes the laying of stones, tiles, and bricks on frost-resistant outdoor surfaces, delivering an efflorescence-free finish that stands the test of time. Unlike Portland cement, Trass Bed is polymer modified and contains no lime particles, eliminating the risk of efflorescence. When combined with ROMEX Adhesion Elutriant and an approved ROMEX jointing product, the full RSG-10 system is activated for maximum peace of mind. Installation Overview Mix Trass Bed with filler material at a ratio of 1:4 until a moist consistency is achieved. Lay and screed the ready-mixed Trass loosely to the appropriate depth — do not compact. Pre-treated pavers with ROMEX Adhesion Elutriant are then laid at the correct height and tapped into place.
