Description
Cooling snakes are the most effective heat exchangers because they are installed in the middle of the medium and therefore have the best cooling or warming effect on the must/wine. This flexible heat-exchange are especially suited for cooling or heating of small containers. The tubes are made of stainless steel and are equipped with a flexible stainless inner- and outher-tube. It is ideal for use in tanks of various sizes made of stainless steel, wood, fibreglass, etc. The concept allows fitting sufficient heat-exchange surface into the tank also in tight places, such as cellars with a low or arched ceiling. Applications: • fermentationc control • temperatur control in storage tank • ideal for small wooden barrels and barriques • Biological reduction of acids • Cooling of wine, cider etc. for storing and before bottling • tartar stabilization • Tanks with smaller dimensions where there is no space for mounting a cooling plate or where the opening is too small for mounting a cooling plate.
