Description
The 500 X 91 X 91mm newel base is a square piece of timber which is rounded at the top and has a 50mm diameter hole to take a newel post that has a dowel. The length of the newel base determines the overall height of the newel post. These bases are unfinished and can be finished by either painting, varnishing or waxing. Larger Newel Bases are available 118 X 118mm bored with a 50mm diameter hole and a round or square top. Newel bases are also available with a 50mm diameter hole without the round on top to suit Modern and Square Collections SKU “NSB”.
