PMTM-5USB 5 unit temperature monitoring kit for landlords and property managers. In most states, landlords are required to to maintain a minimum temperature for their tenants . Verify compliance with local heat la ws with our PMTM monitoring kits. NIST Traceable certifications are optionally available for proof of verification. Print out the PDF records to file away a s a means to maintain an ongoing history of compliance. PMTM-5USB Simply place one monitor in each rental unit as needed and set it to record a temperature every hour of every day (or at other intervals as needed). If there is ever a question regarding temperature in the unit, simply bring your laptop to the unit, plug the monitor into the USB port and you will instantly see the temperature history for the past year or more. Helpful for HVAC servicemen too as they will be able to see if there is an unusual history which may indicate intermittent problems. The battery will typically last 1 to 3 years and may be replaced as needed. Pre-programming of the monitors is available. Optional free software (not required for use) may be downloaded that allows for a much more in-depth analysis of the temperature trends over time. Recording Capacity 16,129 temperature readings. 56 days @ 5min logging, 168 days @ 15min logging. Statistics memory (for display on LCD):Max/Min values and alarm duration values. Sampling Interval Configurable from 1 minute to 18 hours. Logging Start Options Push button start (with configurable start delay from 1 minute to 72 hours) or specific date & time. Power Source 3V CR2032 Battery (User replaceable). Battery Life Typically 1 year of operation with normal use (6 minute logging, statistics reviewed on the display no more than once daily for no longer than 30 seconds each time, download data monthly) provided the logger is kept within the storage temperature range when not in use. The battery low symbol will appear on the LCD if the UTRID-16 has a low battery. Real Time Clock Built-in real time clock. Rated accuracy ±25ppm @ 25°C (equivalent to 2.5 seconds/day).
