A large dead-blow hammer that hits hard, but with dampening as to avoid marring rail or scarring ties. Save ties, save rail, save rework! Sometimes it is necessary to bang rails or ties! Non-Sparking, soft-face sledgehammer. Flat area on head allows upright storage. Urethane covering helps reduce noise pollution. Dead-blow function uses steel shot to eliminate bounce-back. Handle is reinforced wit steel to provide strength and safety and to prevent breaking on overstrike.
