Tall and graceful tulips produce extra-large flowers in rich, saturated colors. Tulips produce their best color in full sun, but flowers will last longer with some shade. Plant bulbs in fall in full sun with well-drained soil, where they can stay dry when dormant. After flowering is done, allow foliage to die back naturally to feed the bulbs for next season’s blooms.
