Description
German Chamomile produces small daisy-like flowers that can be used in tea or as a medicinal herb. Harvest your German Chamomile flowers when they are in full bloom; the petals should be horizontal or slightly drooping, and the centers bright and slightly cone-shaped. German Chamomile likes cool weather and grows best in spring and fall. Plant in an area that receives full sun and has well-drained soil and water once the top of the soil has dried out. Chamomile may self-seed under optimal growing conditions; remove flowers if this is unwanted.
