Description
Milan Cantaloupe is an early-yielding variety that produces 4-6lb, sweet and juicy melons with small seed cavities. This variety has resistance to Powdery Mildew and Fusarium Wilt. Harvest your cantaloupe when the grey-green colour of the skins begins to take on a yellow hue and the melon is able to be removed from the vine with a light tug. Melons are warm-season crops and should only be planted once the soil and nighttime temperatures are reliably warm. They grow best in full sun with fertile, light, well-drained soil and consistent moisture, especially when developing fruit. Stop watering once your melons are about a week away from being harvested.
