Description
Sparkling Sarah is a colourful variety of Chinese Evergreen. It features thick, spear-shaped green foliage with pink veining. The amount of pink depends on how much light it gets; too little light will cause greener leaves. It can occasionally produce small, whitish-green, inconspicuous flowers; the foliage is the star of the show. Chinese Evergreens are excellent house plants for beginners as they have relatively easy care requirements and are fairly forgiving. They grow best in bright, indirect light but will tolerate lower light conditions. While they can tolerate dry soil, they do best if the top 1-2" is dry before watering again.
