Just a few years ago, Nepenthes x briggsiana was a rare, and highly sought-after collector's plant. Now that the plant is produced at a larger scale, it is an incredible opportunity to get your hands on one for an extremely low price! The pitchers of Nepenthes x briggsiana are brightly colored, and extremely firm due to the N. lowii influence. As the plants mature, the upper pitchers take on wild and unpredictable shapes. This is a robust, intermediate altitude hybrid that can thrive in a wide range of conditions. This is one of the better windowsill Nepenthes in our experience, and is an essential addition to any collection. Hybridization between Nepenthes lowii and N. ventricosa is known as N. x briggsiana, regardless of when the hybrid was produced, or which specific parent plants were used. The crossing of Nepenthes lowii and N. ventricosa produced an extremely versatile and unique plant. This plant will be shipped in a moss plug with a 3" plastic pot and enough top-quality New Zealand long-fiber sphagnum moss to fill it. Planting and growing instructions will also be included.
