When spraying with 06 tips it is recommended that you strain your material with a fine mesh filter before spraying. 06 spray tips are not recommended with the Graco Quickshot, box store Graco airless sprayers, or for use with trim paints like Emerald Urethane. Highly thixotropic products like Novalk 932, Renner 765 or ICRO 5000 will also struggle with an 06 tip. We recommend a 308 for thixo products. Tip sizing: the first number is the fan size in inches. It is multiplied by 2 and is approximate. For example, a 308 has roughly a 6 inch fan, and a 0.008 inch orifice size. All 06, and 08 tips are not recommended for use with a Graco Quickshot.
