ID: #694664
Description
*CAUTION: Paphiopedilum may lose their blooms in transit! We recently received a batch of unique Pahiopedilum hybrids in and we're in love! They have not only beautiful flowers, but their foliage is also stunning. We have not gotten the experience to watch all of them bloom yet, but here are our guesses on some of the bloom colors! If yours ends up blooming, please send us photos! We are always so excited to hear updates on plants you receive from us. Hsinying Book x Charlesworthii 'KP’: (not 100% positive on color) Light maroon blooms Charly Web x (Hsinying Rubyweb x Charlesworthii 'KP'): Dark maroon blooms (Hsinying Emma x Hsinying Cirton) x Hsinying Foam: Light green blooms Care Paphiopedilums will appreciate bright indirect light (they will not flower in lower light conditions). They will also like warmer spring and summer conditions to encourage blooming. We recommend watering once the medium starts to feel a little dry, which may roughly be about every 7-10 days. We recommend planting them in a coarse mix, we use thicker chunks of bark. All of our plants are ethically sourced from certified U.S. nurseries. We strongly condemn the poaching of plants or wild collection.

Kiwi Bark
$4.00
Kiwi bark's chunky texture makes for an excellent soil amendment! Kiwi bark has a slower decomposition rate and is less likely to rot compared to other wood. Because of this, large pieces such as these can help increase drainage and make soil not compact as much over time. It can also be used as a potting medium on it's own for some epiphytic species such as most orchids! 2 quart bag can roughly fill one and a half 6" diameter nursery pots. 1 quart bag can roughly fill one and a half 4" diameter nursery pots. All soil amendments ship in a biodegradable bag

Perlite
$4.00
Perlite is the most commonly used additive for increasing soil drainage. It is volcanic glass that forms when glass literally pops like popcorn under super-heated temperatures. It is extremely light and porous! It works wonders on species like Begonias that like a fluffy, quickly draining soil mixture. This perlite in particular is an extra fine grade! 2 quart bag can roughly fill one and a half 6" diameter nursery pots. 1 quart bag can roughly fill one and a half 4" diameter nursery pots. All soil amendments ship in a biodegradable bag

Philodendron hederaceum
$12.00
Philodendron hederaceum is known for its versatility and durability in a variety of different spaces. With the proper care, it can be a fast growing during the spring and summer making it perfect for hanging baskets! The baskets are especially cute due to the heart shaped foliage. Care: We recommend weekly waterings typically as the soil is 1"-2" dry for this size. This will also do best in a bright filtered light. Although this is sold often as a low light plant, our definition of low light is what the plant needs to survive. A source of natural light somewhere in the room will keep this plant sustained and thriving. Usually we say if you can read a book in the room without the light on during the day it's usually enough light for this one. All of our plants are ethically sourced from certified U.S. nurseries. We strongly condemn the poaching of plants or wild collection.

Terra-cotta Cylinder Planter
$15.00
These are our favorite simple pots. We aren't the biggest fan of those plain old terra-cotta planters but these light peachy clay body makes for a modern look to traditional terra-cotta. We are suckers for the cylinder shape. Size options reflects the widths of the opening on the inside. Saucers are sold separately. These are only available for our local Portland residents or people choosing pickup at our Portland shop.
