An incredible pair of antique doors, salvaged from the historic “Windsor” home—also known as the Castle Above the Clouds—perched atop Lookout Mountain, Tennessee. Built in the 1930s by George and Elizabeth Scholze, the residence reflects the couple’s refined taste and attention to detail. George Scholze, second-generation owner of the prominent Scholze Tannery in Chattanooga, helped earn the city its nickname, “Saddle Capital of the World.” Each arched door features recessed panels, and are in good condition with the expected wear including scratches, chips, and scuffs (as pictured). The doors collectively measure 55-1/2” wide, 74” tall, and are 1″ thick. These doors require a custom shipping quote; please contact us if you have any questions.
