Large Antique Nine-Light Iron Chandelier with Slag Glass

Description
Incredible antique nine light chandelier with purple slag glass, dating from the early 1900s. This unique lantern-type chandelier begins with a simplified canopy and rod, working down to a cluster of curling iron bands.The six-sided iron body flares out and features purple slag glass panels; three inner lights illuminate the slag glass beautifully. Six lights are attached to the shade corners, each supported by decorative leafy bobeches. This light fixture is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the edges. The chandelier body measures approximately 26-1/2″ wide by 36-3/8″ long overall. Due to the size of this fixture, it requires a custom shipping quote; please contact us if you have any questions.
