A charming antique boxed newel post, dating from the late 1800s and salvaged from a home in Lancaster, PA. The box newel features beautifully carved details in the form of roundels and grooved lines; its corners feature chamfered details. The newel is in good antique condition with the typical wear including chips, scratches, and scuffs. It measures approx. 7†wide and 50†tall.
